New Year’s Eve with The Voice
Looks like Blake and Miranda had a rockin’ New Year’s Eve!
CMT reports country couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert spent New Year’s Eve partying with some big stars. The two joined pop singer Kelly Clarkson and Maroon 5 front man and The Voice coach Adam Levine in Blake’s home state of Oklahoma to ring in 2012. Levine’s girlfriend, Anne Vyalitsyna posted a picture of the group on Twitter saying, “Best New Year’s ever!” Later, Kelly blogged she was having the “time of [her] life in Oklahoma with great friends!”

Wynonna Judd and her musician boyfriend Cactus Moser are engaged! Cactus proposed to Wy on Christmas Eve, according to People magazine. Moser is a drummer who has toured with Julianne Hough, Highway 101 and most recently with Wynonna and the Big Noise. The couple have been dating since 2009. This will be Wynonna’s third marriage.

Staying Skinny with Miranda Lambert
CMT shares that Miranda Lambert recently told Shape magazine about how she stays healthy on the road. Miranda says Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls)” is at the top of her iPod’s workout playlist. She also admits to ditching diet “plans” and focusing on a healthy lifestyle instead, which includes choosing nutritious alternatives at fast food restaurants. Miranda told Shape, “I don’t mind having a big butt – they’re back in style. But, I do a lot of squats to make sure my booty’s not dragging on the ground.” Insert Kim Kardashian joke here.

Big Laughs at CMA’s
Let me just start by saying that I am a big fan of both Carrie and Brad. I have been able to spend time around both of them, and they are just really nice people. Ok… with that said… I thought the opening sequence for this year’s CMA’s was awesome! If you missed it, here is the video.
